Supporting Research

Lymphoma UK is currently funding a Phase II trial called ACCEPT. ACCEPT is a clinical cancer trial that looks into ctDNA of patients with lymphoma, testing to see how effective new types of treatments are at a much earlier stage.

Through our partnership with Paultons Park, we are pleased to offer a limited number of tickets to families who have been directly impacted by lymphoma each year. These provide an opportunity to enjoy a special day out whilst taking a well- deserved break from the challenges they may be facing.

What Is Lymphoma?

Lymphoma is a type of cancer which affects the cells of the lymphatic system known as white blood cells. It typically occurs when lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell found in the lymph nodes, grow and multiply uncontrollably, causing swelling of the lymph nodes.

​There are many different types of lymphoma however, the two most common types are Hodgkin Lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

This makes it the fifth most common cancer and the most common blood cancer with around 4,800 attributable deaths.
